On 7 June 2016 the Minister of European Integration, Mr Bekim Çollaku, the Head of the EU Office in Kosovo/EU Special Representative , Mr Samuel Žbogar and the British Council Project Director, Ms Teuta Beselica, addressed and congratulated with the Round X YCS grantees. They presented to the press the outcome of this year’s selection procedure and the general goals of YCS for the next future. The students were also addressed by former grantees of the Scholarship Scheme, who established in 2011 the European Young Cell Alumni Association, represented by their elected President, Mr Armend Kelmendi. The event was aimed at informing the media and larger public about this year’s selection results and to further spread the remarkable achievements of the YCS programme in Kosovo so far. The newly awarded grantees, who will continue their studies in different fields of law, public administration and economics, will upon the completion of their Master programmes join the family of some 250 Young Cell Scheme alumni from the previous nine rounds.
